Itinerary in detail :


Day 1 HANOI / PERFUME PAGODA / MAI CHAU (L/D)  (180km – 4h30)

• Pick up at your hotel and transfer to the Huong Pagoda, a complex of pagodas and Buddhism shrines, about 70km south-west of Hanoi.
• When arriving, take a sampan for a cruise along the gentle Yen River to reach Thien Tru Pagoda.
• Along the way, join a two-hour walk and explore Giai Oan Pagoda and Huong Tich cave,etc.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• In the afternoon, join a two-hour walk and explore Giai Oan Pagoda and Huong Tich cave, etc.
• Continue to Mai chau.
• Dinner in a local family.
• Overnight in a house on stilt.

Day 2 MAICHAU / NINH BINH / TAM COC (B/L)  (140km – 3h00)

• After breakfast, take a walk around 2 villages Pomcoong and Lac to learn about the traditional life of the Thai minority of Mai Chau.
• Lunch in Mai Chau
• In the afternoon, continue to Ninh Binh through the National road 12A.
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Ninh Binh.

• After breakfast, take a small sampan for a 2-hour cruise through numerous waterways and a beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice paddies to the stunning Tam Coc caves.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• In the afternoon, visit Dinh and Le dynastic temples before driving back to Hanoi and transferring to your hotel.
• Dinner on your own.
