Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival (D)
- On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Ha Noi , Vietnam's capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia 's most striking colonial architecture.
- The many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere. (If time permit ) we enjoy a short cyclo excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places.
- O/N in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Hanoi- Yen Bai- Nghia Lo (B/L)

- Meet your driver 7:30am at the HOTEL, Soon the bustling streets of Hanoi give way to verdant rice paddies and farmland along Hwy 32. By early afternoon you'll be moving away from the Red River Delta and into the mountains of Yen Bai province, on your way to your destination of Nghia Lo.
- Lunch en route.
- Nghia Lo is situated along a beautiful mountain ridge separating the Red and Black river. With lush forests, tea plantations, rice terraces and gum trees, the picturesque valleys are stunning.
- The area is home to Thai, Nung, H'mong, La Ha and Ma ethnic minority peoples.
- Dinner on your own.
- Overnight in Nghia Lo.
Day 3: Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai- Than Uyen (B/L)

- This day starts with a visit to the local market in Nghia Lo Town, a chance to explore and shop for local handicrafts.
- Today's drive will take you along one of the most exciting stretches of road in Vietnam and offers some of the most lush and verdant scenery found anywhere. As you climb over the mountain pass to Mu Cang Chai you'll meet H'mong, La Ha and Dzao along the way.
- The road, which is not sealed and can be muddy and exiting at times, winds along the Nam Kim river which descends the valley over some cascading gorges.
- At the bottom of the valley you'll arrive in the town of Than Uyen where you'll spend the night in hotel.
- Dinner on your own.
- Overnight in Than Uyen.
Day 4: Than Uyen – Sapa (B/L)
- Enjoy breakfast in a local restaurant, then its time to hit the road for Sapa. From Than Uyen the road rolls along the base of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, home to Mt. Fansipan, Vietnams highest peak. Sapa itself is a somewhat bedraggled village meshing crumbling, mildewed French colonial architecture with the pencil-thin, brick-and-concrete mini-hotels that have become so ubiquitous in recent years all across Vietnam. This neglected, cultural mishmash would be an eyesore in any place less spectacularly scenic than Sapa.
- Arrive in Sapa in the afternoon. Check in hotel.
- Free time to visit Sapa town.
- Dinner on your own.
- Overnight in Sapa.
Day 5: Sapa -Catcat village - Laochai - Tavan Village (B/L/D)

- 4-hour trek of 10 km through 3 villages.
- Enjoy breakfast in a local restaurant, trekking to the first village of the black H'mong (Catcat), walk around to visit villagers and the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the old days.
- Have lunch in a restaurant.
- In the afternoon, take the path along the valley between mountains to get to Laochai village.
- Enjoy the panorama of villages among terraces.
- Visit H'mong people living in wooden and bamboo houses.
- Continue going to Tavan village to visit the Dzay minority.
- Dinner at the home-stay.
- Overnight in Tavan village at a Dzay family.
Day 6: TaVan - GiangTaChai (3 hour trek, 6 km, 2 villages.) (B/L)
- Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village.
- Breakfast
- Go to GiangTaChai village of the Red Dzao minority through paths between terraces and through bamboo forests.
- Visit Silver waterfall and Rattan suspension bridge ,
- Visit the villagers
- Cross Muong Hoa River up the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong.
- Picnic lunch en route.
- Get back to Sapa by car.
- On the way back, enjoy a visit to the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carving.
- Check in hotel.
- Dinner on your own.
- Overnight in Sapa.
Day 7: Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi (B) (420km – 10h00: by train)
- After breakfast, free time to discover Sapa town.
- 15h00: Take a visit by private car to Ta Phin village with the discovery of Red Dzao then go back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi.
- Meals on your own.
- Overnight on train (air-conditioned soft sleeper).
Day 8: Hanoi (B/L)
- Arrive in Hanoi around 5h30, transfer to your hotel and have a breakfast.
- 08.00: Pick up at your hotel to take a full-day city tour of Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples.
- 09.00: The city tour includes such sites as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (ouside), his house on stilt, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature.
- 12.00: Have lunch in town at a local restaurant.
- 13.30: Continue to the Museum of Ethnology and end the afternoon with a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake (the Lake of the Restored Sword) and the Ancient Quarter.
- Join a water puppet show.
- 18.00: Return to your hotel.
- Dinner on your own.
Day 9: Hanoi - Departure (B)
- There is a free time to relax and further explore Ha Noi. The trip ends after your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure.
