Itinerary in detail :


Day 01: Arrive Bangkok

• Arrive in Bangkok International Airport and transfer to your hotel.  Time will be at leisure.
• Meals at your expense.
• Overnight in Bangkok

• Breakfast at your hotel.
• Depart in the morning for visit Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of the ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Bangkok.  Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and Wat Phra Keo, the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. (Note: The Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visiting heads of state).
• Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
• Return to your hotel.
• Dinner at your expense.
• Overnight in Bangkok

Day 03: Bangkok – Floating Market- Rose Garden (B, L)

• Breakfast at hotel.  Early moring travel 110 kms. Outside Bangkok to the floating market of Damnoen Saduak.  Enjoy a long-tailed speed boat ride along the canal and see the daily morning congregation of produce-laden boats as farmers and small holders trade their goods.  Continue to Pra Pathom Chedi, the largest pagoda in South East Asia.
• Then enjoy lunch and Thai cultural show at Rose Garden.
• Dinner at your expense.
• Overnight in Bangkok

• After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bangkok Airport for short flight to Chiang Mai.
• Upon arrival in Chiang Mai and transfer to hotel for check in and then  visit Wat Doi Suthep, tucked away in the mountains at 3,520 feet (1,056 meters). The temple is reached by a staircase with 290 steps, flanked by a NAGA balustrade on both sides. The monastery was built by King Gue-Na in 1383. The center is a big Chedi (spired Pagoda) which contains partial relics of Lord Buddha.
• After the visit of Wat Doi Suthep, we proceed to visit the most interesting places in Chiang Mai such as Wat Phra Singh with its famous Buddha image .
• Enjoy a typical Kantoke dinner with a presentation of traditional dances from Northern Thailand.
• Dinner at local restaurant.
• Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 05: Chiang Mai  (B, L)

• Early morning depart for the elephant camp and learn more about this very intelligent animal.
• Optional: Enjoy an elephant ride at $24 nett p.p.
• Visit to an orchid farm and,
• Lunch at local restaurant during the day and visit the handicraft center and meet the skilled artisans of the north of Thailand. We will see woodcarving, umbrella painting, silk weaving, and silver workshops.
• Back to hotel  in Chiang Mai
• Dinner at your expense.
• Overnight in Chiang Mai

• Breakfast at hotel, Drive from Chiang Mai to Chiang rai  route to Thaton , visit  Chiang Dao cave , Wat thaton , to see the panoramic view.
• Lunch at local restaurant.
• Stop-visit at the Padong "long neck" village. Walk the short distance into the village and spend some time there also visiting the nearby Akha & Lahu tribes. You should arrive in the city of Chiang Rai beginning of the evening.
• Dinner at your expense.
• Overnight in Chiang Rai

Day 07: Chaing Rai (B, L)

• Breakfast at hotel
• A breath taking trip to the highest peak on the Thai-Burmese border, Doi Tung - a combination of Lanna style and Swiss chalet which is the first residence of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra (closed in winter).  Then continue Mae Fah Luang Garden of decorative and flowers in plants located on the hillside just below the Royal Villa.  At center of garden, a statue entitled “continuity” is evocative of the continuous effort of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. The garden won PATA Gold Award in 1993.
• Lunch at local restaurant.
• Afternoon the journey continues to Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand, where the streets are lined with stalls and shops full of handicrafts and antiques from Burma and China.  perfect for souvenir shopping and visit the in famous Golden Triangle, with Loas, Burma and Thailand.
• Dinner at your expense.
• Overnight in Chiang Rai

• After breakfast at hotel, depending on your flight, you may have time at leisure before will be transferred to Chiang Mai Airport for your departing flight.
