Itinerary in detail :


Day 1  Arrival in HANOI

• Welcome at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel.
• Free time to enjoy Hanoi capital and warmest meeting in our office.
• Meals on your own.
• Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2  HANOI city (B/L)   100km around

• After breakfast, spend your day taking a tour around the capital and visiting such sites as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside),
• his former residence,
• One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda,
• Temple of Literature,
• Lunch in a restaurant.
• In the afternoon, continue to the Museum of Ethnology and end the afternoon with a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake (the Lake of the Restored Sword) and the Ancient Quarter.
• Early in the evening, enjoy a water puppet show.
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Hanoi.
  

Day 3  HANOI / HALONG (L/D)   160km – 3h30’

• In the morning, after breakfast, transfer to Halong Bay.
• Arrive around 12h30 and take a junk for a memorable cruise through the mystical Halong Bay.
• Be delighted with food on board and spend your day admiring one of the natural marvels of Vietnam.
• Visit islets & natural caves
• If the weather is nice, enjoy a swim in the cool blue water of the Gulf of Tonkin.
• Dinner and overnight on the junk.

• 7h30: Breakfast.
• Discover Man’s Head Island, Tortoise Island, Luon cave, Bai Tu Long bay, Ton Island and Bai Tho Mountain.
• 11h00: Enjoy an early lunch on board.
• 12h00: End of the cruise, then drive to Noi Bai Airport for flight (VN 319 – 18.45/20.00) to Danang.
• When you arrive, we will transfer you to your hotel in Hoian to check in.
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5  HOI AN  (B)

• After breakfast, your guide will meet you to show you the Ancient Town and explain its considerable significance in the history of Vietnam. You’ll be free in the afternoon.
• Meals on your own.
• Overnight in Hoi An.

• After breakfast, the whole morning is at leisure before transferring to Hue through Hai Van Pass The views from the top are excellent – you’ll be able to see Lang Co beach and the lagoon far below and the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Hue.

Day 7  HUE (B/L)

• After breakfast, take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Huong River (Perfume River) and Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank and Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel, the mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh and the Dong Ba market
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Hue.

• Transfer to Hue Airport for the morning flight to Saigon.
• When arriving in Saigon, transfer to your selected hotel.
• In the afternoon, discover a busy Saigon with a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter and a visit to the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral (built in the 19th century), the dazzling French-style post office and the Reunification Palace (outside).
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Saigon.

Day 9  SAIGON / CU CHI TUNEL  (B/L)      50km - 1hour

• After breakfast
• We will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong to suddenly materialise as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush, and vanish equally rapidly.
• After lunch, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City, visit Cho Lon and stop at Binh Tay Market.
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Saigon.

• After breakfast,
• Depart at earlier morning to escape from Ho Chi Minh City’s urban sprawl, you’ll travel to Vinh Long.
• There, you’ll cruise on the Mekong River, visit Cai Be floating market, fruit orchards, a traditional family-run brick kiln, and drop in to look at some traditional cottage industries - a workshop making the huge coffins unique to the Mekong is particularly interesting. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City.
• Dinner on your own.
• Overnight in Saigon.

• After breakfast.
• Full day free of shopping and enjoy the test of biggest city in Vietnam where designer shops sit cheek-by-jowl with boutiques, galleries, antique shops and jewelry stores. Clothing includes silks and hand-woven fabrics with a reputation for high quality. Vietnam is also famous for handicrafts including bamboo ware, ceramics and lacquer.

• Overnight in Saigon.

• Free time until your transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for the departure flight.
