Itinerary in detail :


Day 1: Vientiane Arrival

• Arrive in Vientiane. Meet your guide at the airport, transfer to your hotel for check in.
• Start city tour in the afternoon. Visit That Luang Stupa, Pratuxai, Ho Prakeo, Wat Sisaket.
• Self-service meals.
• Overnight in Vientiane.

• After breakfast, free until transfer to the domestic airport to fly to Phonsavan, Xieng Khouang Province. Met by local guide and transfer to hotel for check in. Proceed by car or van to visit the first and second site of the Plain of Jars.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• Afternoon,  a 32 km drive to visit the old capital of Xieng Khouang ( Muong Khoune ) where H’mong ethnics live. Return to town in late afternoon.
• Self-service dinner.
• Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

Day 3:  Xieng Khuang  (B, L)

• After breakfast, drive to Muong Kham to the natural hot spring water 64 km. On the way stop at minority villages to see their everyday life at Thajok village and visit Tham Piou cave.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• Return to Phonsavanh in the afternoon.
• Self-service dinner.
• Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

• After breakfast, visit the local market of Phonsavanh.
• Free until transfer to the airport for flight to Luang Pra Bang.
• Upon arrival at Luang Pra Bang airport, transfer to hotel for check in.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• Afternoon, visit main highlights of Luang Pra Bang: Vat Visoune, Vat Aham, Phousi hill for a view overlooking Luang Prabang and Vat Mai Souvannaphoumaram, Vat Xieng Thong - the most beautiful temple of Luang Pra Bang and National Museum known as former Royal King’s Palace.
• Self-service dinner.
• Overnight in Luang Pra Bang.

Day 5:  Luang Prabang  (B, L)

• After breakfast, transfer to  the local pier of Luang Pra Bang to embark on a traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou caves. En route, stop over to visit Ban Xang Hai where distillation sticky rice wine can be seen. Visit the sacred Buddha cave where the thousand Buddha images can be seen and return to Luang Pra Bang to continue visiting Ban Phanom, near by Henri Mouhot’s tomb, the weaving village of Lao Lu textiles.
• Self-service dinner.
• Overnight in Luang Pra Bang

• After breakfast, visit Ban Xang Khong, a weaving and handmade mulberry paper village. Free until transfer to domestic airport to fly to to Vientiane.
• Pick up and transfer to hotel.
• In at the morning go to the Morning Market with its Lao handicraft products, silk, gold, antique silver. See the sunset from beside the Mekong River.
• Lunch in a local restaurant.
• Self-service dinner.
• Overnight in Vientiane.

• After breakfast, free time until your transfer to airport for departure flight.
