Day 1: HANOI - Arrival
  • When arriving in Hanoi, transfer to your selected hotel.
  • Meals on your own
  • Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: HANOI (B/L)
  • After breakfast, spend a full day visiting the capital with such sites as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), his former residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature.
  • Lunch in a local restaurant before exploring the Museum of Ethnology.
  • Discover Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a rickshaw tour in the Ancient Quarter with its antique shops.
  • Early in the evening, enjoy a traditional water puppet show.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: HANOI / HOABINH / MAI CHAU (B/L/D)  (150km – 3h30)
  • After breakfast, drive to the Thai minority village of MaiChau through Hoa Binh located in the heart of Tonkin.
  • On the way, stop at Muong minority village and learn about the traditional lifestyle of the local people.
  • Lunch is served in a house on stilts in Maichau.
  • In the afternoon, walk around 2 villages of Mai Chau: Lac and Pomcoong to discover the tradition of Thai minority.
  • Have a warm dinner in a people house.
  • Overnight in a house on stilts in Maichau.
Day 4: MAI CHAU / NINH BINH / TAM COC (B/L)  (140km – 3h00)
  • After an early breakfast, drive to Ninh Binh.
  • Check in hotel and have lunch in a local restaurant.
  • In the afternoon, take a small sampan for a spectacular 2-hour cruise through numerous waterways, admiring a beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice paddies to the stunning Tam Coc caves.
  • Take a 2 km bicycle-tour to visit Bich Dong pagoda.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Tam Coc.
Day 5: TAM COC / PHAT DIEM  / HAIPHONG / HALONG (B/L)  (200km – 4h30)
  • After an early breakfast, drive to the village of Kim Son and visit Phat Diem cathedral. Phat Diem Cathedral is the center of Catholicism in north Vietnam and also a tourist site attracting foreign and domestic visitors.
  • Lunch in a restaurant.
  • Transfer to Halong via Thai Binh and Hai Phong city.
  • On the way, stop to taste green bean cakes.
  • Arrive in Halong city and check in hotel.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Halong.
Day 6: HALONG / DANANG / HOI AN (B/L)  (750km – 1h15: by plane)
  • After breakfast, take a 5-hour cruise through the mystical Halong Bay and admire one of the natural marvels of Vietnam.
  • Visit islets, natural caves of Dau Go & Trinh Nu and, if the weather is nice, enjoy a swim in the clear water of the Gulf of Tonkin.
  • Lunch with seafood served on board will delight you, before returning to the airport for Danang in the afternoon.
  • When arriving in Danang, transfer to Hoian and check in hotel.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Hoian.
Day 7: HOIAN / MYSON / HOIAN (B/L)  (50km – 1h15)
  • After breakfast, taking a walking tour around Hoi An hoian200ancient town and exploring its treasures: the Japanese Bridge, PhucKien Assembly Hall, PhungHung Old Merchant House.
  • Lunch in a local restaurant.
  • Drive to Myson, the ancient kingdom of Champa, and spend the morning visiting Vietnam’s most important Cham ruins (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
  • Return to the hotel late in the afternoon.

  • Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: HOI AN / DANANG / HUE (B/L)  (100km – 2h30)
  • After an early breakfast, transfer to Hue through Hai Van Pass and through the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co.
  • When arriving in Hue, check in hotel and have lunch in a restaurant.Hue200
  • In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel and the mausoleum of  Emperor Khai Dinh.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: HUE / SAIGON (B/L)  (1150km – 1h20: by plane)
  • After breakfast, take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Huong River (Perfume River) and visit Dong Ba market & Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank and Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb.
  • Lunch in a restaurant.
  • In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the afternoon flight to Saigon.
  • When arriving in Saigon, transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 10: SAIGON (B/L)
  • After breakfast, spend a full day taking a tour of a busy Saigon
  • Enjoy a tour to Cho Lon and stop at Binh Tay Market.

Day 11: SAIGON / TAY NINH / CUCHI / SAIGON (B/L)  (110km – 2h30)
  • In the morning, depart to Tay Ninh and discover the Holy See Temple which reflects the original Caodaist religion.
  • Attend the colorful mass at noon before lunch in a local restaurant
  • Continue to Cu Chi tunnels, an incredible underground network built by the Vietcong during the Vietnam war.
  • At the end of the afternoon, return to Saigon.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Saigon.
Day 12: SAIGON / MY THO / BEN TRE / CANTHO (B/L)  (150km – 4h00)
  • Morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and drive to My Tho, located in the heart of the Mekong Delta.
  • When arriving in My Tho, take a boat for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Ben Tre.
  • Visit a coco candy factory where you can taste local specialties.
  • Take a 15-minute coach ride to visit a garden house to enjoy tea with honey and fresh tropical fruits.
  • Take a sampan through a water coconut forest before returning to the boat to come back to the restaurant for lunch with a chance to taste “tai tuong” fish, a special kind of fish having big earsMekong_delta200.
  • In the afternoon, continue to Can Tho, the main town of the Mekong Delta.

Day 13: CANTHO / CAIRANG / CHAU DOC (B/L)  (120km – 3h00)
  • After breakfast, take a Sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market and a family-run noodle-making factory and witness the rural life and the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks.
  • Discover Can Tho market before driving to Chau Doc, not far from the Cambodian border.
  • When arriving in Chau Doc, visit the Sam Mountain, a popular pilgrimage site gathering temples of Chinese, Cham or Khmer influences before checking into your hotel.
  • Dinner on your own.
  • Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 14: CHAU DOC / SAIGON (B/L)  (255km – 7h00)
  • After breakfast, take a cruise through a surprising village of floating houses where fishes are raised in their natural environment, and learn more about Cham culture while visiting a small village and its mosque.
  • Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Lunch on the way.
  • Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City early in the evening.

Day 15: SAIGON OUT (B)
  • Free time until your transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure flight.
